Gangotri is the place from where Ganga originated. It is for this reason that Gangotri is extremely sacred for the Hindus. King Bhagirath performed penance in Gangotri and it was only after that, river Ganga came down on the earth.

Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Sahastradhara Helidrome
As per the suggested time arrival at Sahastradhara Helidrome would be at 0600 Hrs.
Any changes due to bad weather or clearance our team will confirm the new scheduled time one day prior.
Estimated time for Gangotri Dham Darshan would be 03 Hrs (round trip). The distance to Gangotri temple is about 25 km, which is roughly a 50-minute drive.
After the darshan drive back to Harsil Helipad and fly to Sahastradhara Helidrome.
On arrival at Sahastradhara, our team will be present to receive you.
