The best time for you to visit the valley of flowers is in the months of July and August. Trekker is also similar to the valley of flowers because there is a 20 kilometer trek. There is a national spot bloom in the Uttarakhand Himalayas. This is also referred to as the valley of flowers. Here, you will get the best views of the snow pinnacles of the Himalayas. The other option is to take a helicopter or the Palinquin porter. But the helicopter will only fly when the weather conditions are ok.
This is the time when the snow starts dissolving and the little plants start developing. There are also icy masses that continue softening.
The months between July and September is referred to as the monsoon season. This is the time when the valley is blossoming with beautiful flowers.
Snowfall begins in the month of October and the valley during this time is shut for the normal tourists.
You have the option of reaching Srinagar by air, by train or even by road.
Jolly Grant airport is the nearest airport from Govindghat. If you want to reach Hemkund Sahib, you will have to take a horse, a pony or a helicopter. You can also trek from Govindghat.
The nearest railway station is Rishikesh railway station. You will reach the Rishikesh station by train and after that take a bus or a taxi to Govindghat.
Govindghat is connected to a number of cities including Srinagar, Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Rudraprayag.
