Delhi to Kathmandu

There are cabs available at Janakpur which helps you reach Kathmandu in 6 hours.There are also luxury buses available from Delhi to Nepal. These buses operate from the Dr. Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal and takes around 30 hours to reach Sanauli Border.
Adventure lovers also prefer to ride from Delhi to Kathmandu via private cars. The distance between these two capital cities is approximately 813 kilometers and it takes almost 15 hours 15 minutes to reach Kathmandu.

Varanasi to Kathmandu
There is an overnight bus from Delhi to Varanasi. From Varanasi you can easily travel to Nepal. There is a direct bus between Varanasi and Kathmandu every 2 days run by the Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Corporation. It leaves every night at 10 pm and takes around 13 to 16 hours to reach Kathmandu from Varanasi.
There are also local buses from the city which run quite a few times in a day and take you to the Nepalese Border of Sunauli. From the Sunauli bus stand you can get a direct bus to Kathmandu, which is again a journey of 9 hours.

Sunauli to Kathmandu
Sunauli is the busiest India-Nepal border crossing. This border route is directly connected with Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. You can get direct trains and buses from Delhi to Gorakhpur from where you can again get buses to Sunauli. The Sunauli bus stand is very near to the border and from here you can get transport not only to Kathmandu but also to Lumbini and Pokhara.

Raxaul to Kathmandu
Raxaul border is the easiest way to visit Nepal for people travelling from Patna, Bodh Gaya and Kolkata. There are direct trains from Kolkata to Raxaul, which is almost 16 hours journey. Sitamadhi in Bihar is one of the easiest gateways to reach Kathmandu.

From Kolkata to Kathmandu
