By Air

By Train

There are two main railway stations in Delhi that are only 20 minutes drive to each other are NDLS or New Delhi Railway Station (Paharganj) and NZM or Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station (close to South Delhi)

The two closest bus stations are Idgah Bus Station 5 km distance from Taj Mahal and ISBT Bus Junction / Kashmere Gate ISBT / Maharana Pratab inter-state bus terminal which is most popular because it is only 2 - 3 minutes walk from Agra Cantt. Railway Station and you can take the transport options like taxi, cab, auto etc. from there also to Taj Mahal.

Car

You can also drive by car by Taj Expressway which is the best way to reach but avoid driving in the early morning as there is too much fog and may be unsafe for driving. Also, cabs are available on hire. Time taken to reach Taj Mahal from Delhi by road is around 3 - 4 hours.

How to Reach Taj Mahal from Goa

By Air

Take a flight from Goa to Delhi after which you can go to by train/ cab or fly to Agra Cantt Station. The total journey takes roughly 6 hours. Fares can take anywhere from 5,000 to 16000 INR.

If you're looking for budget travel then there is Mangla Ldweep which is long journey (30+hours) and Goa Express (approx. Lesser time) to Agra Cantt Junction. By Air

Fly from Chennai to Gwalior/ Delhi and then travel by train from Gwalior Jn. To Agra or Delhi to Agra respectively by flight. This is the fastest route that takes less than 8 hours. Every 4 hours there are Air India, IndiGo and Spicejet flights to Agra. It is the fastest route but takes anything from Rs .5,000 - Rs. 28,000 by air.
