Day 01 - Arrive Chennai

Day 02 - Chennai - City Tour, Chennai – Mahabalipuram (70 km - 02 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : Today Morning after breakfast we take a tour of Chennai, Chennai is a gracious city that has a clear skyline, long sandy beaches, parks, historic landmarks and tourist infrastructural facilities which make it a convenient entry point or base to start a tour of Tamil Nadu and South India. Visit Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, Fort Museum, Museums, Later we drive to Mahabalipuram, driving south of Madras on the coast lies Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram), the ancient port of Pallavas. The pallavas have created many marvelous monuments with sculptural panels, caves, Monolithic Rathas and Temples. It is believed to have been named after the Pallava king Mamalla. It has various historic monuments built largely between the 7th & the 9th century, & has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Overnight will be at the hotel in Covelong.
Day 03 - Mahabalipuram – Excursion to Kanchipuram (65 km - 01½ hr)
Detailed Itinerary : In the morning after breakfast you will drive to Mahabalipuram, recognised as a World Heritage site owing to its rock-cut art. Here you may visit to Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Five Rathasshrine that were carved during the reign of King Mahendravarman. Afterward you will drive to the temple town 'Kanchipuram' located on the Palar River, known for its temples & silk sarees. O/N in Mahabalipuram.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 - Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (300 km - 06 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : Early morning after leisurely breakfast, head out towards Tanjore. Visiting enroute Pondicherry, Raj Niwas, Sacred Heart Church and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Continue to Tanjore. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. Afterward proceed to witness the royal Brahadeeswara temple, Nandi (Bull)) and the Royal Palace complex.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05 - Tanjore - Madurai via Trichy (200 km - 04 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : On day five, you will proceed to Madurai via Trichy, 91 km Morning drive to Trichy. Trichy, located in an island is Srirangam. Surrounded by the Kaveri water is a 600 acre island town enclosed within the seven walls on the gigantic Sri Ranganathaswami temple. Later you will drive to Madurai and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon you will proceed for sightseeing tour of Madurai, known as Athens of the East, It
is one of the oldest cities of India, with a history dating all the way back to the Sangam period of the pre Christian era..
Day 06 - Madurai
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning you will take aHalf Day Tour to Meenakshi Sundareshwar, It was first built 2000 years ago & was substantially expanded between the years (1623-55 AD). Initially there was only the Shiva temple. A striking feature of the temple is the astonishing structure known as Ayiramkaal mandapam or the Hall of a thousand pillars in the outermost corridor. Stay Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 - Madurai - Periyar (136 km - 03 ½ hr)
District : Idukki District

Famous For : Tigers, Elephants

Detailed Itinerary : Today morning after breakfast you will be driven to Periyar. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a place to cruise on the lake & gives an opportunity to see wildlife. It is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, monkey, a wide variety of birds. After lunch you will take safari to a nearby Coffee Plantations & villages. On arrival at Periyar, you will be transferred to your pre-booked Deluxe / Luxury hotel.
Day 08 - Periyar - Kumarakom (135 km - 04 hr)
District : Kottayam
Location : Banks of Vembanad Lake, 15 km W of Kottayam
Known As : Queen of Vembanad
Best Time To Visit : Water Fowls, Siberian Cranes
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning you will Drive to Kumarakom but first we will take a boat ride to view
wildlife in the sanctuary on Lake Periyar. After two hours of wildlife viewing we get back to the hotel for breakfast and embark on deluxe Houseboat for backwater cruise.Embark Kerala Houseboat "Kettuvalam" at Kumarakom. Visit famous St, Marys Forance Church that is believed as blessed by Str. Francis in 42 AD. The murla paintings by vegetable oil is an exciting panoramic vision. Visit the famous Champakulam snake boat construction yard.

Day 09 - Kumarakom – Alleppey (Overnight Houseboat)
District : Alleppey
Area : 1414 Sq. Km
Known As : Alappuzha

Detailed Itinerary : Today morning after hearty breakfast you will procced to
Kumarakom Bird sanctuary.. It also has golden backed woodpecker, crow pheasant, white-breasted water hen, tree pie etc.
Later we board the
houseboat, locally called
Kettuvallam, cruise around stunning backwaters of Kumarakom to Alleppey
to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters. Stay Overnight will be at Houseboat.
Day 10 - Alleppey - Cochin (65 km - 01 hr)
District : Emakulam
Location : Ernakulam in Kerala, 220 km from Trivandrum
Known As : Lagoon's Country.
Best Time To Visit : Post Monsoon, September to May.
