Chennai (formerly known as Madras), is known for its cultural heritage & temple architecture. Take a half day of sight seeing includes Cochin Harbour terminus where the Chinese fishing nets present a wonderful sight; Mattancherry Dutch Palace; The Jewish Synagogue and St. Francis Church (built in 1510 Vasco Da Gama was originally buried here). Later you will visit the Hill Palace which was built in the 19th century by the Raja of Kochi, the Kochi province was ruled from here. Later you will be collected for a Kathakali Dance Show.

Mahabalipuram, town of temples, sand & sea. It is world renowned for its beautiful Shore Temple & famous for rock cut caves and shore temple. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram, you will be accommodated at a pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03 - Mahabalipuram - Excursion to Kanchipuram (70 km - 02 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning after breakfast you will be driven to
Kanchipuram, is one of the seven holy cities in the country. It is also known for its temples & silk sarees. Kanchi was a major seat of Tamil learning as well as an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, Jains and Hindus. We visit
Kailasanatha Temple. The temple is famous for exquisite carvings & attracts devotees & tourists alike. There are 58 small shrines situated around the main shrine, as a compound wall. Next we visit
Ekambaranatha, ancient temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The 3000 year old mango tree inside the temple has 4 branches each yielding different variety of mangoes.Before returning to Mahabalipuram we will also visit
Kamakshi Amman Temple, known as Parabrahmaroonpini. The main deity is seated on Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Eswara & Sadasiva. you will be accommodated at a pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04 - Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (300 km - 06 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning after breakfast you will be driven to Tanjore, It is called the Rice Bowl of Tamilnadu. Later we visit Brihadeshwara temple, also known as Big Temple, Built in the 10th Century A.D., by Raja Raja Chola, the Temple Tower is capped by an 81.3 tones round monolithic cupola.. The temple is considered an engineering skill of the Chola architects who planned its construction in such a way that the shadow of the cupola never falls on the ground.

Day 05 - Tanjore - Madurai via Trichy(200 km - 04 hr)

Madurai, rich cultural heritage passed for more than 2500 years old & has been an important commercial centre as early as 550 AD.
Madurai is one of the oldest cities of India, with a history dating all the way back to the Sangam period of the pre Christian era. Madurai where the people wake up at the chant of hymns is proud of magnificent 'The Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple. Of its 12 gopurams, four of the tallest stand at the outer walls of the temple. Later we visit
Rockfort most famed landmark is an 83 m high rock which is the only outcrop in the otherwise flat land of the city. The most amazing fact about the rock is that it is one of the oldest in the world approximately 3,800 million years, which makes it as old as the rocks of Greenland & older than the Himalayas.

Day 06 - Madurai
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning you will take aHalf Day Tour to Meenakshi Sundareshwar, It was first built 2000 years ago & was substantially expanded between the years (1623-55 AD). Initially there was only the Shiva temple. A striking feature of the temple is the astonishing structure known as Ayiramkaal mandapam or the Hall of a thousand pillars in the outermost corridor.

Day 07 - Madurai - Periyar (136 km - 03 ½ hr)
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning after breakfast you will be driven to Periyar. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a place to cruise on the lake & gives an opportunity to see wildlife. It is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, monkey, a wide variety of birds. After lunch you will take safari to a nearby Coffee Plantations & villages.

Day 08 - Periyar – Kovalam (250 kms/06 hours)
Detailed Itinerary : Today morning take breakfast at hotel. take a boat ride to view
wildlife in the sanctuary on Lake Periyar. After two hours of wildlife viewing we get back to the hotel. Afterward you will be procced to
Kovalam beach, is known as the "Paradise of the South". Kovalam is just 16 kms away from Trivandrum, Kerala's capital city. Day is at leisure to enjoy your time at beach side.

Day 10 - Kovalam – Thottapalli (90 km - 02 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : In the morning After hearty breakfast, drive to Thottapally. ocally called
Kettuvallam, cruise around beautiful backwaters of Thothapalli
to Alleppey to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters. Upon arrival you will be transfered to the Kettuvallam Houseboat. The common scenes capture the temples, fishing, and people tending theircrops and coconut plantations as you drift through the canals.

Day 11 - Alleppey – Cochin (60 kms/01 hour)

Detailed Itinerary : Arrive Alleppey- formerly named as Alleppey, in Kerala is one of the major backwater destinations. The thrilling boat race awaits you at Alleppey or Alappuzha. Alleppey is a captivating destination in Kerala India that provides backwaters, traditional Kettuvallooms (house boats), beaches, boat race, swaying palms, gourmet delight and many more. At noon time, disembark Houseboat at Alleppey and later you will proceed to Cochin.

Day 12 - Cochin

Location : Ernakulam in Kerala, 220 km from Trivandrum
Known As : Lagoon's Country.
Best Time To Visit : Post Monsoon, September to May.

Cochin set on a cluster of islands and narrow peninsulas, the port city of Cochin (Kochi) (Queen of Arabia) reflects the eclecticism of Kerala perfectly. With a rich past and a bustling present, Cochin is one of India's largest ports and a major naval base. And in evening enjoy the South Indian classical dance i.e. Kathakali Dance Show in a Theatre.

Day 13 - Cochin - Guruvayur - Mysore (250 km – 5 hr)

St. Philomena's Church that was built in the Gothic style is one of the largest churches in India.

Day 15 - Mysore – Hassan (150 km - 03 hr)
Detailed Itinerary : Depart from Mysore and proceed to Hassan and visiting the famous tourist attractions that fall en route such as the Sravanabelogola that is renowned for the 17m high statue of Lord Gomateshvara a top the Indragiri Hill. After breakfast, Spend your day in Hasan sightseeing that involves detailed excursions to Behur and Halebid. We also visit the Hoyasaleshwara Temple at Helebid, built by Kettuvallam, during 1121 AD. Dedicated to Lord Siva has two shrines connected by pillared walls & in each shrine is a Lingam Hoyasaleshwara & Shanthaleshwara. While away a lazy evening shopping at the colorful local markets.

Day 16 - Hassan - Hospet (150km – 03 hr)

Speciality: Hassan in Karnataka is the oldest town of Hoysala Empire of 11th to 13th century AD in India.

Detailed Itinerary : After breakfast at the hotel you will take to Hospet - the World Heritage Center, is the most beautiful and evocative of all the ruins of Karnataka. once a beautiful capital city of Vijaynagar empire, in ancient days was known as Nagalapura. The city was razed to the ground by Sultan of South India in the year 1565.
