  Jaipur international airport is located in Sanganer, which is 13 km away from Jaipur. There are many buses and taxis from the airport to reach Jaipur city. A taxi ride takes 30 minutes to reach the airport from the city.

  The nearest bus stop to the airport is just five minutes’ walking distance from the airport’s passenger terminal. The nearest bus stop serves main destinations in the city. The buses are available for every 20-30 minutes from 5 am until 11:30 pm. The nearest railway station is located 13 km way from the airport. You can find many buses and cars to reach the airport from the station.

  You can also hire auto rickshaw from the airport for a ride to the city. Tourists prefer auto rickshaw for a different experience. It is also a cheap option of transportation.

• Airport :

  A new domestic terminal was built in 2009. The airport has many special features like central heating system, inline x-ray baggage system, central air conditioning system, inclined arrival baggage claim carousel, public address system, CCTV, common use terminal equipment and others. The international terminus can hold up to 500 passenger during peak hour.

  The entrance gate to the airport is made with Dholpur stones and sandstones. It is decorated with Rajasthani paintings. The airport houses 14 aircrafts today and can accommodate more than 1000 passengers at the same time. There are two terminals in the airport. The terminal 1 is for both domestic and international carriers and terminal 2 is only for domestic carriers.

  If your connecting flight time is very long or if you happen to spend a few hours inside the airport, there are many fast food restaurants, cafes and vending machines to refresh you. There are a few retail shopping for window-shopping or small-time shopping for handicrafts, jewelry and others.
