About The Train

This is the luxury train of the country with decor of royal havelies and palaces. The décor reminds you of the heritage and riches of the country. Your cabin will be decorated with opulent draperies, authentic silk bed spreads, antique upholstery, majestic carpets and many others with soft gradient of Rajasthan. This train can be explained in one word as elegant.

Cabin

There are about 13 cabins in this train with many services like in-room safe, attached bathroom with toiletries, temperature control remote, Wi-Fi, channel music and many others. There are two types of cabins in this train, namely; the Bravura suite and the extraordinary suite. Apart from the cabins, train also has some common lounges like a restaurant, souvenir shop, spa, guest lounge and many others.

The segregation of the salons:

The salons are named as palaces in Rajasthan namely Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Kishori Mahal, Padmini Mahal and so on. The Bravura Salon is the super deluxe salon with the most number of services and amenities.

Cuisine and Dining

The rain has two restaurants with bars namely; Sheesh Mahal and Swarn Mahal. They serve cuisines from various parts of the world namely Chinese, Continental and Indian. Sheesh Mahal has a great décor with floor lamps, crystal pelmets and others. The colour theme of this restaurant is aquatic blue. The Swarn Mahal is an Indian styled restaurant with chandeliers and gold inspired décor. Each restaurant has fully stocked bar with exotic wines and other booze.

Souvenir

The souvenir shop has a large collection of exotic Rajasthan items like handicrafts, leather products and others. There are other souvenirs from the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels like beer mugs, apparels, accessories and others.

Spa

You can retire in the spa lounge where you would be provided a lot of different types of massages and treatments in the laps of luxury and ultimate comfort. There are professionals who would care your skin, hair and rejuvenate you for the next day of touring.

  • 50% of fare for children between 5 years and 12 years of age.
  • 10% of fare for infant upto 5 years of age.
  • Service Tax @3.63% and Commercial tax US $15.00 per person extra as applicable.
  • 10% surcharge is applicable during Christmas and New Year eve.
Inclusions

The tariff includes cost of travel and accomodation, conducted sightseeing tours, catering (morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner), entrance fee at monuments, palaces, parks, and cultural programs.

Exclusions

The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels fares does not include liquor, video camera fees, laundry, tips, phone calls other item of personal nature.

Booking Policy In case of FITs (Individual Travelers)
  • 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
  • Remaining 80% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
In case of Group and Charter
  • 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
  • Remaining 50% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy In case of FITs (Individual Travelers)
  • If cancelled 60 days prior to departure, then 5% of ticket value will be deducted.
  • If cancelled 30-59 days prior to departure, then 20% of ticket value will be deducted.
  • If cancelled 30-44 days prior to departure, then 50% of ticket value will be deducted.
  • If cancelled less than 30 days prior to departure, then 100% of ticket value will be deducted.
In case of Group and Charter
  • If cancelled 89 days prior to departure, then 20% of ticket value will be deducted
  • If cancelled between 88 to 31 days prior to departure, then 50% of ticket value is deducted.
  • If cancelled between 30 days prior to departure, then 100% of ticket value is deducted
