Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, and our agents will meet you at the airport and help you transfer to hotel. Night stay will be in Delhi.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Delhi
After a delicious breakfast, go for sightseeing New Delhi. The city has tall buildings, great street food, top attractions and political buildings. Popular attractions of Delhi are Qutab Minar, India Gate, Lotus temple, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial and Birla Mandir. Night stay will be in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (262 Kms/5 hrs.). Arrive in Jaipur and transfer to a hotel. Later, visit the City Palace. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here. Night stay will be in Jaipur.
Day 04: In Jaipur
Have breakfast and explore Jaipur. After lunch, visit the Pink city. Visit attractions like Mubarak Hall, Chandra Mahal, Pothikhana, museum of Arms and Armoury, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Night stay will be in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur - Agra
Drive to Agra via Fatehpur sikri. You will reach Agra by lunch time. Here, you will first transfer to a hotel. After lunch, visit Agra Fort- a hilltop citadel with magnificent courtyards, fountains and gates. Night stay will be in Agra.
Day 06: In Agra
In morning, visit Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Taj Mahal is dedicated to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also, visit attractions like Agra Fort, Diwan-I-Khas, Itmad-up-Dau’s tomb. Night stay will be in Agra.
Day 07: Agra - Jhansi (By train) Jhansi - Orchha (By surface)
In morning, transfer to railway station and board the train to Jhansi. Arrive in Jhansi and drive to Orchha. Reach there and transfer to a hotel. Go visiting wonderful temples and monuments. Night stay will be in Orchha.
Day 08: Orchha - Khajuraho (By surface)
Enjoy your breakfast and drive to Khajuraho. Known as one of the artistic wonders of the world, these temples are dedicated to the Hindu Gods. On reaching, transfer to the hotel. Overnight will be at Khajuraho.
Day 09: In Khajuraho
In the morning, proceed for sightseeing tour of Khajuraho. Famous for the legendary temples, it is an artistic wonder of the world. The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions: western, eastern and southern.
Night stay will be in Khajuraho.
Day 10: Khajuraho - Varanasi (By Air)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and take a flight to Varanasi. This is India’s most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga. Arrive in Varanasi and transfer to a hotel. It will be great visiting temples and witnessing the “Aarti” ceremony in the evening. Overnight will be at Varanasi.
Day 11: Varanasi - Mumbai (By Air)
In morning, take a boat ride on the Holy river Ganges to view the religious activity at the bathing Ghats. By Afternoon, our agents will transfer you to Airport in time to catch a connecting flight to Mumbai. Arrive in Mumbai and transfer to a hotel. Night stay will be in Mumbai.
Day 12: In Mumbai
After breakfast, proceed for Mumbai Tour. Visit Mumbai attractions like the Gateway of India, Museum, Chowpatty Beach, Dhobhi Ghat and Marine Drive. Night stay will be in Mumbai.
Day 13: Mumbai- Cochin (By Air)
In morning, reach airport and board the flight for Cochin. Arrive at Cochin & transfer to a hotel. In the afternoon, go for sightseeing Cochin with attractions like the Dutch Palace, The Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and The Santa Cruz Basilica. Night stay will be in Cochin.
Day 14: Cochin - Periyar
After breakfast, drive to Periyar (situated at 185 Kms/5 hrs). Take a houseboat to cruise along the palm-fringed waterways, which offer a panoramic view of Kerala Village Life. Night stay will be in Periyar.
Day 15: In Periyar
Drive to Periyar (130Km drive) in morning. The Periyar Forest offers the finest wildlife reserves in India. Periyar’s biggest attraction is the Herds of Elephants that come down to water and play at the lakeside. Night stay will be in Periyar.
Day 16: Periyar - Madurai
Drive to Madurai (137 kms/4.5 hrs) in morning. By evening, visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, a structure in the Dravidian style of architecture. The most interesting feature of this temple is its Hall of a thousand pillars. Night stay will be in Madurai.
Day 17: Madurai - Trichy
After breakfast, drive to Trichy (at 316 Kms/8hrs). In evening, visit temples of Trichy, one of the very ancient towns of Tamil Nadu. Also, visit great temple of Srirangam, an island on the Cauvery. Night stay will be in Trichy.
Day 18: Trichy - Tanjore
After breakfast, drive to Tanjore (54 kms/2 hrs). In the afternoon, go for sightseeing Tanjore. Known as the city of temples, Tanjore is dotted with over 74 temples. Night stay will be in Tanjore.
Day 19: Tanjore - Pondicherry
In morning, drive to Pondicherry. Go for an afternoon sightseeing of Pondicherry visiting attractions like Matrimandir, Manakula Vinayagar Temple and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Night stay will be in Pondicherry.
Day 20: Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram
Have breakfast and drive to Mahabalipuram (100 kms/3 hrs). Visit the shore temples lashed by the sea. Later, relax on the beach. Night stay will be in Mahabalipuram.
Day 21: Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Chennai
Take a morning excursion to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram is a small, quiet seaside resort with a unique 7th century Shore Temple, a lovely beach and some very beautiful rock cut temples of the world. Kanchipuram, is the Golden City of a Thousand Temples, known for its hand-woven silks. Reach Chennai and stay there for the night.
Day 22: In Chennai
After breakfast, enjoy sight seeing Chennai, the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu. Visit attractions like The National Art Gallery, the Museum, beautiful temples, St. Mary's Church, Peoples Park, Marina Beach and clock towers. Night stay will be in Chennai.
Day 23: Departure
This is the last day of the tour. Transfer to airport for the onward journey.
