What to See
  If you are in Amritsar, do not forget to witness the glorious Tarn Taran, which is situated at a distance of 22 km southeast of Amritsar. You will be delighted to witness the dome of this Gurudwara, which is covered with copper gilt.

Baba Bakala is another fascination, which is situated about 45 kilometers east of Amritsar. With a magnificent Gurudwara attracting thousands of people gathering on every amavas, the place is indeed valuable. Then comes the Wagah Border, the only border crossing between India and Pakistan.





Amritsar derives its name from two words, amrit – nectar and sar – pool, which surrounds the Golden Temple.
